Health and learning go hand in hand
Healthy Schools Consulting was formed by Jessica Lawrence, a former health teacher and health education curriculum specialist for the Oregon Department of Education. We are an education consulting business that offers services such as facilitation, presentations, curriculum and materials development. We have been working with clients since August of 2006.
Healthy Schools Consulting addresses school health issues and focuses on a process that is effective and results-oriented. Some of our clients include schools, districts, state departments of education, non-profits, public health organizations and state departments of health and human services.
We believe that health and learning go hand in hand. With the competing pressures that schools face, the health and well-being of our school communities are oftentimes forgotten. Healthy Schools Consulting believes that the core of a school community is how it functions as a collaborative entity to support the health of the students, teachers, staff and larger school community.
